People who want everyone to know that they bought an expensive car and make people believe that they own a sports car, when in fact it is much slower than any real sports car on the road and costs more than most of your real sports cars. It is just a status symbol for insecure people.

For example, a 2009 BMW Z4 costs about $47,000. It has 255 horsepower and 220 lbs of torque while weighing about 3500lbs

A 2009 Chevy Corvette costs about $48,000 and has 430 horsepower and 424 lbs of torque while only weighing 3200 lbs.

The Corvette costs about the same and is lighter, faster and handles better.

The 2009 turbocharged Chevy Cobalt SS costs $24,000. It has 260 horsepower, 260 lbs of torque and only weighs 2900 lbs. At half the price, you get a car that is faster and handles better than the Z4. But it does not draw as much attention to the average person because it's a Chevy and the Z4 is a BMW.

The Z4 is made for people who prefer style over substance. I personally would hate to pay that much money for a Z4 and get so little performance in return.

If you guys paid the same for your fuel as we do in the UK you would be looking for a 1.4 anything that does 70 miles to the gallon.

C and D. As a part of the A demographic, I feel that it's embarrassing to be seen in a Z4. I'd rather have an M3, and most people in B would have something bigger.
